Hello, I put new tpm sensors (pre-programmed) but can't do the relearn. Since I'm from Spain and here all sensors work at 433 mhz nobody has programming tools for the american 315 ones, so I buy pre-programmed and just do the relearn process with my tool:

Already did that with my old Mustang 2010 with no problems, but now with my 2014 the relearn does not work, I start the relearning procedure and tool seems to not communicate with the sensor, no honk at all. I checked if the tool is valid for 2014 (yes) and sensors in theory are compatible, bought from Rockauto: More Information for VDO / CONTINENTAL SE10007
Any suggestions? As I said no workshops here with tools or sensors to program or clone 315 frequencies.

if you are sure that both the sensors and the synch tool are correct for your 2014 car, then I don't know why it is not working

sometimes they synch themselves without help -- is the dash still showing TPMS error?

100% sure about the sync tool, not so much now about the sensors; starting to think they're not the right ones despite Rockauto put them as compatible: reading about them the "redmi" feature means they will auto sync... doubt that will happen just with a driving cycle, I'll try anyway. The weird thing is that I'm not getting the blinking pressure icon on the dash, and ecu does not show any error code, it's fixed icon showing "low tire pressure" message, and pressure of course is fine.
EDIT: After some driving icon started to blink and now yes it shows "Tire pressure monitor fault". Still no error codes. Thoughts?

I think I got the problem. This new type of "redi-sensors" pretends to cover a huge amount of oem sensors so the list of compatible vehicles is insane, BUT despite of being pre-programmed, it still requires an activation with a programming tool to tag the sensor with the make and vehicle model, so the simple relearning tool is not enough. According to this video REDI-Sensor Multi-Application TPMS Sensors: The Next Generation - REDI-Sensor they explain these sensors will make life easier for workshops in order to need less replacements, but in same video they say the only compatible tools are Ateq, Bartec and Autodiagnos, and even they NEED to be updated or it won't work (already read many comments about these sensors not being recognized), so in the end, to be honest, I see more cons than pros. A pìty, I liked the metal part of the valve protecting the rubber toric, didn't find that in any other sensor kit. Anyway, I just ordered another programmed/clone capable metalic sensors (of course not same brand!). Hate when companies pretend to make things easier and they end doing the opposite.

Done, installed new preprogrammed sensors and just the relearn procedure worked like a charm. So the problem was the explained above.
