hey guys, i read the post about adjusting the tps. and i just had a small question. im assuming the green wire is the sending wire for sending voltage info to the computer right? i tested the red wire, comin up at 5.15 volts no matter where i adjust the tps, so power wire right? and black is ground obviously. but my green wire is givin me 0.0 no matter where i adjust. this means my tps is faulty and i need a replacement correct??

Red wire should be around 5v , this the main power wire.

That does sound like a very bad TPS.

ground your meter to at the battery and check again.
If it had no ground it would be getting 5v on the green wire.
