alright so i cant get my 93 to idle. it wants to stay around 900ish and from what i hear its supposed to be at 650-700. ive changed the iac valve, the tps(twice), adjusted the timing to 10 btdc, and there dont seem to be any vaccum leaks. the egr has been deleted, and im getting a code for the map sensor. so my question is...can i get a step by step process for installing the tps and adjusting the voltage because for some reason i dont think its right. also, will the map sensor effect this? i wanna hear this thing cam so bad! i can hear it a little but if i bring it down to 650rpm it will sound sick

you want to see between .95v and 1v at closed throttle. probe the green(i believe) wire and check the voltage. if its off you can loosen the screws that hold the tps to the thottlebody and slightly turn the sensor until you get the desired reading. tighten down the screws and recheck the voltage. then open the throttle all the way and hopefully you should be reading close to 5 volts. mine reads 4.98v at open and .98 closed.

its not the right way to do it, but you can adjust your throtte plate stop screw to lower the idle. do that with the iac unplugged after you've had your battery disconnected for a while. then adjust that and reset your tps voltage.

Doesnt have to be between .95 and 1v, just needs to be between the failure code range of .6 and 1.19v. The ECM makes the proper adjusments, as long as its in this range.:bigthumbsup
