The SVT Cobra Mustang Club (SCMC) is having its national event at VIR this year and will be celebrating the 15th anniversary of the SVT Cobra. This is a three day track event at Virginia International Raceway on May 30 – June 1, 2008. The track event is open to all makes and models meeting the safety requirements as outlined in the drivers packet. The event consists of the full course on Friday, and the South course on Saturday and Sunday. This is a driving school that will allow participants to enjoy their vehicles in a closed and structured environment. Racing is NOT allowed.

Those entering the show on Saturday will be able to do touring laps on the track at designated times.

The event consists of:
Three days of track time
Saturday car show (open to Ford vehicles and Ford powered vehicles)
Saturday night banquet

Team Shelby will be joining us for the weekend with several Shelby’s and they will also be doing charity rides.
