How do I install traction bars? My 67 coupe came with a set and I dont know how they bolt up....

:worship You have to take the 4 u-bolts loose on the rear end (2 on each side of the axle). Point them toward the front of the car, run the bolts back thru the shock plate and bar, and tighten it back down. You might have to get longer u-bolts, I don't know. My new leafs came with them, and they fit snug with the plate. Do you have sub-frame connectors??? I would install those too if I were you.

What happened??? Did you get them hooked up, and does it hook up any better to the road during launches??? I want some, but I want sub-frames first.:clap

if your planning on doing subframes.. i would definitly do them first.. the rear of the subframe needs to be welded to the same spot as the traction bars do... so if you already welded the traction bar plate on then you would have to grind it off then weld the subframe on then weld the traction bar plate back...
