For technical purposes, it doesn't make a difference - there are no check valves or anything like that inside the radiator. I'm not sure about '68, but on 65/66 cars, the forward line on the tranny goes to the passengers' side and the return line goes from the drivers' side to the back of the tranny.
Transmission cooling line question
I have 2 new transmission cooling lines and my question is does it matter which one plugs into which side of the radiator. Does the one in the front go on the driver side screw hole or the passenger side screw hole? I know that there isnt actually a screw hole on the drivers side im just using these terms to avoid confusion.
