Hello All,

Got a couple quick questions I hope. First, I have urethane engine mounts and a stiffened up suspension, but stock transmission mounts. Should I worry about upgrading them for any reason?

My other issue is I get some wicked shaking above 60-65mph on the highway. Its bad enough I can see the hood vibrating a bit along with my dash and such. Also, the steering wheel goes back and forth a bit as well. Its most prominent when on really light of off throttle, and for some reason when going down hill. I'm not sure if its an engine issue or if its a suspension/drivetrain issue.

I'm not sure if its anything to do with my transmission mounts really, since my gear knob at least seems pretty isolated from the movement (the shifty vibrates all the time anyways). My engine runs pretty decent most of the time, and it does it regardless of if I have a check engine light or not, and again its mostly at higher speeds.

I appreciate any ideas about it!

so your saying your check engine light is on sometimes? cuz whether its on when you have the problem or not it could give you some indication

I don't remember the exact codes, but sometimes I get transmission gear sensor fault/ac fault or whatever, MAF out of range on start (but not while running...?), and the usual 81/82 from my emissions equipment.
