I am wanting to get a short throw shifter, but i can not find what transmission is in my car. I have a pic of the door plate with the code on it but i cant find anywhere on the net what transmission it is or what short throw shifter to get for the transmission. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. :worship I will attach a pic of the door plate.

You have a T5 transmission if the car in your avatar is what you drive. Go with the AM shortie, I have it and it works awesome and it is nice and cheap too!
