Tremec in my 99 GT?

I'm sure someone will be able to enlighten me on this one.....I've always thought my 99 GT had a T5 in it, but the other day I was underneath it and noticed the unmistakable "tremec" word on the side of the gearbox. I've always read that the TR3650 was introduced in 2001 GT's...am I missing something here?? I thought for sure that a T5 would say "Borg-Warner" - not tremec. Do I maybe have a different style tremec?

You have a T-45, no mod motors use the T-5, it won't even hook up to it. The T-45 is stronger than the T-5 anyways.
thanks for that dollarbill...I guess I've always assumed that the T-45 was a borg-warner tranny. It all makes sense to me now.
Isnt the T5 a v6 tranny only too... ?
T45 only came uptoo 01 02 is tr3650....

T5, T45 sounds like terminator movies ...
The T5 tranny was used with 5.0 liter pushrod engines from 1983.5 until 1995.

The T5 is what was in the 5.0s
Not 100% sure but I think the V6s up to older than 05 still used a T-5. I also believe TTC Tremec bought out Borg Warner's tanny line in the late 90s, not sure what year.
