I only have to say basically what the other folks above said ,1992 the last year for forged pistons... 95 was the last year for the 5.0 ,well in the Mustang at least... Hmmm wonder what we could have had if Ford kept the 302 in the Mustang in terms of horsepower and torque like Chevy with the 350 oh well a little off topic sorry. But I haven't heard about the different colored oil pans I might have to take a look at that...

Dude Shakerhood!!!! WOW the 350 is actually 347 cubic inches... What is it something like 60 cubic inches per liter... Rough estimate I cannot remember exacts... The car companies round up or down like Ford with their 351 Windsor actually 352 cubic inches yet Ford rounded it down to avoid confusion with the 352 FE motor do the math... Not trying to sound like a jerk just giving out info. GM and Chrysler do the same thing... But it really doesn't matter what GM does actually all of their vehicles well blow.... Camaro (Cheap American Made Automobile Rebuild Often) and Trans Am (Totally Ridiculous Automobile Rebuild Often)... And well they have things like the Cobalt or Lumina I am sorry actually it's a GTO... Couldn't tell at first sight ...

WOW the GM 350 has ALWAYS been 347 cubic inches... Although there was a redesign GM DID NOT change the bore and stroke of that motor... But actually I am glad Ford moved on to the mod motors they are really nice... Smooth and pulled insanely high in the RPM's great sound too! Just wonder what might have been you know if Ford sunk all the technology they have in the mod motors into the old pushrod types... Guess we will never know though.

Sorry if I irritated you just sometimes I like to see on forums if guys know what they are talking about lots of folks like to talk out of there ,well you know... Cool got my respect big guy...

But I will tell you what... I will sell you a killer set of glowplugs for the 350 Chevy or a really sweet Thermostat and some radiator fluid for a VW Bug maybe even some muffler bearings... :winks How about a good 710 cap...
