Hook it up to 12V and see if it clicks. If it doesn't, it's bad.
Troubleshoot Variable Timing Solenoid
I need to know how to test the Variable Timing Solenoids for the cam phasers. Any help on how to do this with a volt meter would be appreciated. I would like to know whether I am looking for a resistance or a voltage and of what value. And any help on testing the harness would also be great, Thanks!
