The shipping costs and “handling fees” of an aftermarket hood put the project on hold for years. I was so fortunate to recently discover that TruFiber was located right near me in Houston, so I just had to go for it. Picked up this heat extractor hood directly for $350 out the door. The fit is absolutely phenomenal, it literally lines up tighter than the factory did, no joke. I strongly recommend TruFiber for an aftermarket hood if you’re thinking about going for it. Paint is coming soon, but I photoshopped it to red in a pic for better viewing. Here’s some pics:

That is GREAT to hear! most of the fit/finish of most aftermarket hoods is, well, junk as you well know!

yeah man they really are doing it right! Even got a free mask with the deal, haha
