Well, I have the Diablo Predator and a Steeda CAI...
It is easy to use and you can download tuning updates from your computer with the addition if the proper cable and power transformer...
This tuner will allow you to adjust many different engine variables as well as the shift pressures, if you have an automatic...

If you're a gear head and want really twik your engine, most guys are using the X-Cal which is a little more expert oriented for my taste...

All in all, both are good units but it comes down to a matter of function...

Good Luck, Dave

XCAL2. Because Lidio has them and he's a local business here.

Yea, that makes sense! LOL!

The X-CAL-2 is my choise and the choise of most professional tuners... it has a bit more funktions it can perform and seems to go a bit deeper and be more exact...

For the showdown I don't know anybody that have switched from X-Cal to Diablo... I know a few who switched from Diablo to X-Cal and have seen two tunes... not really a fair compairson though since the re-tunes were professional custom tunes and not canned Diablo tunes... Can't remember the exact numbers now but the gains were close to 10%! First one was a CAIed GT up from ~275 to almost 300 RWHP, the other a S/C GT from 410 or so to almost 450!
I think the Predator and X-Cal2 are just two different tools performing the same function... the important difference in my mind is the dealer who provides the tunes.... All X-Cal2 tunes are not equal... I know that for a fact... Lidio's 89 octane tune shaved .25 off my 0-60 time vs a different tuners 93 Octane tune!
