Ok so after alot of thought, I think im going to get a turbo for my 02 V6, It has 50,000 miles.... I want to build it myself... I see that i can get a good turbo for around $400 or so... but i dont know really what else i would need to buy... i want to keep the price around 1,500 or so if possible... i just want around 8 PSI. So what else would i need to get it done?

Turbos are by far the way to go when you go with forced induction with a V6. The biggest hurdle you will have to overcome is the headers. There are none you can buy off the shelf and they are not real easy to make. This guy builds turbo kits for the v6 mustangs and I believe he sells the headers by themselves as well.

You will also need a blow off valve and waste gate, I would recomend a intercooler. Your exhaust will need to be reworked and you will also need a tune. A dyno tune would be better than a mail order tune.

so how much do you think the turbo manifold would cost to get made... it does not look like it will cost really that much... as long as the manifold does not break the bank

cheapest is $800 for the manifold Around $400 for the turbo, another $200 for the Blow Off valve about $75-$125 for the wastegate. Used Volvo 240 intoercooler $100, Tubing and Ducting, if prebent $300 bend it yourself about $20 for 4ft, Then you have to get bigger fuel injectors, roughly 36# would do good $100 (used) $300 (new), which mean bigger fuel pump, Prollythe 255gph $200, Oil feed and Oil return lines about $40, Drilling a hole in you oil pan an tapping it Free if you have the tools. Boost Gauge $80, Dyno Tune $100-$150 per hour at least 1 hour for tune. And prolly another $100 for other things I missed like banjo bolts and teflon tape etc etc.

Total from my quote: $2795 Not including labor if you have someone do it.
