Maybe something with the brakes, it does have disc brakes, right? FoxChassis should know for sure if you ask him.

All mean the same thing.....Traction-Lok
...great..thx..
but..is there meaning behind those letters?
not to sound like a total moran, but i am not 100% sure i understand what the "trac-lock" actually is...is it just Ford's name for the average-joe limited slip? sorry, i am sure this is quite elementary to most of you, but i checked out my 86's rear end the other day after reading another thread and it appears i also have this mysterious trac-lock rear end. help?
Traction-Lok = Ford's name for their limited slip
All automatic equipped Turbo Coupes (1987 and 1988) have an 8.8 with 3.73 gears. The 5 speed equipped cars came with 3.55 gears.Turbo Coupes from 1986 and older used a 7.5 rear with 3.45 gears and drum brakes (with quads).
