Tweecer or chip?

742 Views 2 Replies 3 Participants Last post by  EagleAutosports
ive been trying to decide which one i should get, the Tweecer tuner or a custom chip? a chip is more along my price range, i hear the tweecer is about 1k. And with the chip it has to be reprogrammed every time i change something, right? Anyway i just wanted to see what everyone thinks about both, what would you do? 94 gt 14 deg timing, stock. soon to come 3:73, s/t shift, K&N, and im sure it wont stop there.:hihi: thank you in advance for your thoughts.

thats not true about the tweecer. go on there website, for the 87-95 mustang the best one they have is under 600 bucks. you can also get one for under 400 they both do the same thing but the one for 600 you can view all the ecu parameters in real time on your laptop. i'd go with the tweecer because if you get a chip burnt any new mods you need a new chip but the tweecer you can adjust whenever you want. i'm about to pick one up myself

That's true about the chip, you make any change to the combo the chip would have to be re-burned. The AEM system is really expensive, and then there's the Tweecer and Anderson PMS. I'd check around for prices on the Tweecer, and then compare it to the PMS which is around $900 brand new. You might be able to score one of them for less if you're lucky.
