I finally was able to give the stang a bath today and take some pics of the new rims. I hope everyone likes them. Also, I still need to know what kinda springs to go with in order to get a good drop on the car. I don't have money for CC plates, new shocks, bumpsteer, etc. so I want a drop that only requires springs. Thanks for the help.
I recently put the chrome bullitt wheels 17x9/17x10.5 combo on my 99 GT and I went with BBK 1.5" lowering springs. It's a nice subtle drop (without slamming) and I didn't require any other special parts (caster/camber plates, shocks/struts,etc). In fact, I took my car in for an alignment about a week after the install and my alignment wasn't thrown off at all (didn't need an alignment).
you can go with H&R Sport springs (not the super sports), the Eibach pro kit, u can also get the bullitt handling kit which is springs, shocks/struts, swaybars...also tokico makes packaged sets also....i love my H&R's
