First off I'm not looking to go fuel injection. I have the stock Holley 5200 on the car, a brand new 5200 and I also have what looks to be a 32/36 Weber DFEV. Would I be better off going to the 350cfm carb Holley has when I upgrade or not?

Not required for what I want to do. It's overkill. Looking to stay 2 barrel.

The 390 wouldnt be overkill its vacuum secondary. It will only flow what you need, probably better than the Holly 350 2 bbl.

Works wonderful on my friends Pinto.

Not to mention 4 barrel manifolds go for a killing now, but I'll take it into consideration.

Yeah they do. If youre on a budget, Im sure the 2.3 masters will chime in here. The 390 carb is expensive and so is the manifold, its about a $600 deal.

I've heard an EFI lower can be used with an adapter.

I have heard same thing. Unsure where. I know you will have to plug the injector holes and near can remember make a adapter plate. Maurice
I got some extra intake if taking pictures will help.

I say go with the 350 holley if you don't want to go 4bbl, but I have to say, once you get it running right, the 4bbl setup is loads of fun and draws quite the crowd at car shows if you take the air cleaner off :bigthumbsup

I bet it does, but I like the Mid 20 ish MPG I get from the car. Something tells me my frequent goosing of the throttle would make it mid 10's.

The MII is heavier than a Fox, I would want a 4bbl. Actually OFFY stopped making the 4bbl intake about 2008(same time I had the money and had to find it otherwise) I have a website, it's a marine website, boat parts etc. that may still have some. The carb is like 315 bucks which is about the price for most carbs I've seen. I got my OFFY on ebay for 76 bucks. BEsides you can always go bigger with 4bbls Eventually the 390 will be a leeway point for somnething like a 600cfm.
