I recently came across a used set of Bassani LT headers and midpipe for sale on eBay. Both items are priced low, and I'm wondering if there's a reason why. Here are the links:

LT Headers
- the pipes aren't in the collectors? does this mean they would have to be welded into the collectors and possibly ruin the coating?

X-Pipe
- the extension pipes that connect to the LT headers are missing. In fact, I think this part was originally the Xpipe used for retaining stock headers.
- I sent a message to the seller and he stated that a shop welded/connected custom pipes from the headers to the midpipe.

I'd like to get a LT header setup and I've been looking to cut cost from buying new ... however I'm not sure if this is worth it. It seems as though a lot of extra work would go into making this work ... work that I plan on paying someone else to do. Any thoughts/comments would be appreciated.

Dont think the long tubes are supposed to be chopped up like that, its all supposed to be one piece for the left and 1 for the right. YOu would have to weld that together and thats just asking for exhuast leaks and all types of associated problems. I dint even get to looking at the mid pipe :hihi:

Yeah I have no idea how they came out the connectors ... probably something a shop did while trying to jimmy rig this setup together. Thanks for the comments ... I can't stop laughing at "run away screaming"

DO NOT try to go cheap on something like this. I thought I was getting a good deal on some LT's for about $600 and ended up spending about $1200 after it was all said and done; which was the price of a new set.

I'd almost consider reporting that listing as a violation of ebay rules. Who in the hell would buy those?
