I have a 2001 V6 mustang, I want to switch the engine out for a V8 are there any suggestions as to what engine to get and where to purchase one? I was told to drop a 5.0 in it but im not sure if every year 5.0 motor will fit? And what all will i need to do this engine swap? Please help me Thanks!

The 5.0 will fit. Doing this is gonna cost LOADS of money. A 5.0 motor if we're talking 2011+ ones start at 9grand. Then you have to change the transmission fuel lines pretty much everything. Honestly it isn't worth it. Save up some money like 3grand sell your car for a few grand then get a GT
