Hi , my name is Josh , I have a 1989 Mustang LX 2.3l,
I have a vacuum leak , rodents got to my lines , the bottom left vacuum line was totally missing after the car sat for a few months . The car runs ok when its cold , but as soon as it warms up , I have difficulties keeping it running at lower rpms , I have jb weld on the vacuum tree where the break is , but Im not sure what that vacuum line goes to because like before said , it is missing , if anyone has any helpful tips Id be very grateful. Thanks , Josh

IIRC, one goes to the defrost and heat actuator, one goes to the EGR control valve, one to fuel rail/regulator. there is a vacuum line or 2 on the air cleaner. I had a 93 so might be a bit different. should be a sticker for vacuum system on hood. could be one to vapor canister as well. if your heat/ac is blowing out of defrost and floor no matter what setting then there is a leak or missing line to that hose. there is a bigger one that goes to the brake cylinder as well, but I believe that comes off the intake but not 100% sure. find a manual to help. good luck
I wrote in one of your 2 other duplicate threads take a pic if the vacuum tree so maybe someone can you you which one your missing and can take a pic of where it goes...
