vacuum line problems

Hey guys so I have been having problems with my foxbody surging and running like junk. I have cleaned the throttle body and replaced the maf sensor, replaced iac, tps sensor. Set that to 1.0V completed the base idle reset I have even checked for vacuum leaks but I couldn't find any. One of the two smaller vacuum lines on my upper intake aren't connected to any ting it is just plugged off I am not sure if that supposed to be like the because of the maf conversion or if it is the other hose that is also plugged off on the manifold as well.
I have looked at the diagrams but I cannot really understand them I believe that the one smaller vacuum line off the back of the intake manifold is supposed to be connected to the egr vacuum regulator, correct? I have no way to connect it though if anyone could take pictures of the vacuum line routing from the egr vacuum regulator that would be great I took some pictures to try to help but I'm not sure what to do anymore any help would be appreciated! Also the hose for the pcv does it just sit into the block or is there supposed to be a clip to hold it in? There is also no filter in mine does that matter?

Lets see if I can get this right.... The white line (mine has splices from breaking it a few times!) from the vacuum cluster goes to the EGR. The black line that runs behind the engine goes to the intake. The red line goes from the fuel regulator to the intake. There is a small black line running toward the front of the engine that goes to the port before the smog pump. There is another white line that runs toward the front which connects to another port off the smog line running to the thermactor. Here's a pic of mine. It's a little different to the intake than the stock intake but just connect to the intake somewhere. Hope this helps

I believe that the port you have capped off on the intake was for the MAP sensor on the firewall before the MAF conversion. The line on the EGR is supposed to go through the junction to the top solenoid on the strut tower. The tube with the hose and screw, I believe goes to the fuel pressure regulator.
Ok thanks guys I'm going to try and buy some vacuum lines in the next couple of days and replumb it and see what happens! Thanks again i will post up as soon as I do that
Oh also I don't have my smog pump lines anymore they never came with the car does that matter? And markS93 that little black cylinder thing at the top almost Centre of your picture the thing has 3 vacuum lines going to it what is that? Mine is missing one vacuum line
That is the check valve for vacuum reservoirs inside the fender and the HVAC lines underneath the dash.
^^^ Yeah, that! :heha:
Where did you find vacuum lines?
I need one for my AC line and no one has them that small. I used the smallest I could get but it's crimped at the boot and my AC is not blowing very strong at all. But at least it's working while driving. Living in Florida, AC is something that is needed all year round.

I ended up getting them from a coworker he took all of his off of his truck but I believe you could get them from any parts store.

Not here in Florida, they don't have them that small. I tried to buy a boot that fit the smallest line I could find but it was to big for the fitting. Guess I will go back to the junk yard.
I'm not sure but I believe windshield washer lines will work they are small black rubber lines instead of the hard plastic with the boots on them.
Yes you can use 3/16th rubber wiper tubing to solve your problem or you can do something like this looks a lot nicer without all the rubber tubing showing.
