Can anybody help me and figure out what would be production date of my stang ? The vin is 5F08C741305, I appreciate a lot.

thanks

The car would have a date of 26S (May 26, 1965) as I have VINs 5F07F739758 to 5F09A741892 with that date with 8 others inbetween with the same scheduled date.

On the site l posted a link to, I found that VIN's 5F07F739758 and 5F08A742231 have a 26S scheduled build date, but here are some listed in between with different dates:

5F07A741142 - 29R
5F07T741063 - 27S
5F08C742010 - 28S.

I guess the VIN's didn't go down the assembly line in order.

Ya i saw that too, doesn't make much sense like these 5F07F120757 is 28D and 5F07D120863 is 24D... and more than half of the cars on this list are missing the production dates.

Talk about insulting someone.....:nono:
Please excuse my butting in...

I was a moderator on a big Ford site from around 2000 to 2004 and Dennis "MIL1ION" was also a moderator there during the last year or so. Even back then, he would blurt out things that came across as extremely rude to the rest of us, but once you get to know him, you'll see that he really does mean well. His technical postings were usually spot on, it's just he's never learned about online social etiquette.

That being said, I got tired of putting out all of the fires he started so I resigned as a moderator

Hi again. :) It appears that he has gone on to greener pastures, so, I suppose that the question of his technical expertise, or lack thereof, is moot. :)
