Here is a video of my supercharged 408 on the dyno built by T&L engines in NC. It made 656.4 ft lbs of torque and 751.2 hp with 10 lbs of boost with the paxton novi 2000. To those of you who care I will keep you updated on how this engine works out quality wise etc that was built from T&L motors in NC.

It sounds good.....

but you get the motor i highly recommend going over every nut and bolt on it....

Not to rain on your parade i have heard nothing but horror stories about that builder & the quality of their product

again go over every nut & bolt.....

Good luck with it......

Please keep us posted of the progress

They are located in stanfield NC. here is there website Stroker Engines_Crate Motors_Stroker Kits_NC Custom Stroker Engines-TandLEngine Development Stanfield, NC
RLG believe me I did my research before ordering the engine. I read about every thread about this place and most of every complaint was about the time it took to build it and how long it took to return calls etc. There were a few threads I found where they had engine troubles etc but we all make mistakes. I actually called Lloyd the owner and spoke with him. I brought up the threads about people's complaints and he said that they don't claim to be perfect and do make mistakes and actually hired a guy ROB to answer phone calls as they did not have a dedicated person to answer phone calls as they do now and was a BIG complaint from many people. People love to talk about the bad but hardly make any special effort to tell the good so I will tell if good or bad my total overall expereance. So far they kept in good contact with me and have been fairly easy to get a hold of but did take a little longer then I thought but not bad and I made a few changes that prolonged it. I know of many people that purchased engines from T&L and have been very happy so we will see. I will for sure keep everyone updated on the progress and how she runs and also keep an update throughout the engines life. To me this is a tell all for T&L engines and expose the myths and truths that have been spread about them. Not that all bad are myths but once it gets started it spreads like wildfire and can really hurt a good company trying to make a good living.

I totally agree with you....

people only talk about the bad stuff...

i wish you best the best of luck with the motor....

my intent was to make you aware of any pontential problems.....

as with any turnkey/crate motor no matter who builds it those just thing you need to do....

check & double check before putting it into service....

i hope that motor performs just the way it dyno'd

That's true, people only talk about bad things. You could be in business for years and make one mistake, all of a sudden you have no credibility. If it's running well on the dyno, I would think it'd work fine once you get it into yours.

Oh yeah RLG I totally agree with you too! You just cannot be too safe. I am not doing the work but having a guy I trust VERY well do it for me for I don't have the time or place to do it here. He will be sure to look it over well. Appreciate the input guys and I am chomping at the bit to get this beast up and going. :nogrinner

I have not heard anything good or bad about them. I went to there site and looked things over. They may build great engines but they better at that price. To be particular I looked at there 418 windsor 500 HP engine. All the components are exactly what went in my engine all eagle forged internals forged TRW pistons etc EXCEPT I got a dart block! Thats a HUGE upgarde in a engine and I would not have it any other way especially with the horsepower I will be making "around the 1000 HP range" Also to upgrade to a holley carb it's $300.00 more when T&L not only puts a holley on there engines but a AED car. You can check there carbs out here AED HO Series Holley Carburetor They are basicly a holley on steroids. You can get all the goodies AND a dart block from T&L plus the AED carb for a little over $6000.00 vs performance unlimited for almost 9 grand. Thats a pretty huge price difference for a engine with a stock block vs one with a dart block with basicly the same internals. Hey I may get my engine and it throw a rod first time down the track and I will eat all my words but I doubt it:shiny: T&L build about 10 engines a week and if you look at there space age shop you will see how. Just browse there website and take a look, It's pretty impressive and there prices are unmatched for what you get.

Thanks Sam.
I should be getting her dropped in, in a couple weeks. We are working on the fuel system and suspension right now and beefing the car up to take all that torque. I will for sure keep everyone posted and try to get a video of it's completion. Also I will get some pics of the install for the fun of it....
