Hey guys, Not to sure if this is the right place to post this, but if its not tell me where to move it.

No to the question. I am wanting to Install HID Headlights But having a hard time where to buy from.
Do any of you have a preference to where I should buy from. Im also looking for dual Beams in 6000K

Also, I have a pony package *meaning small fog lights* and i was wondering if i would buy a single beam HID kit and use that. Would that work?

any and all information would be helpful

Thanks,
JJ

well if you want "true HID" they are gonna run you about 200 ish... I just upgraded my Headlight bulbs for super cheap on ebay. They look really white as opposed to the horrid wanton yellow color. I have the pony package too, and let me tell you that getting to the fog lights is A PAIN IN THE BUTT! I couldn't do it, a few other guys on here have, but I can't get the grill to come out and I'm afraid to force it. You can get the "HID" look by upgrading your bulbs... choose between the blue or white ones. I just did mine and they look pretty damn good.

I also got my hids of ebay, I ACTUALLY HAVE A HIGH AND LOW BEAM, the bulb has a small actuator in it that actually moves the bulb. There are cheap kits out there that just give you one bulb thats bright as hell and thats it. IF you got the ebay route, you are going to want to stick to 6000k or below. Thats basically a very white, USABLE light. 8000k+ is just for looks and has barely any usable light (just looks really blue). I did the hids along with GT front end with fogs and it looks great.

True HID & Aftermarket HID kits

Or you can do what I did..

http://www.allfordmustangs.com/forums/4-6l-tech/203106-fx-r-projection-bi-xenon-headlights.html

Its going to cost you more than any other setup but I think, personally, the best for a few reasons.

1 which is the main reason but I'm sure you can guess, is the setup I have doesn't blind the crap out of on coming traffic and 2 it looks & out performs almost everything else I've seen out on the road.

I've actually had people thank me for not going with the drop in HID bulbs with the stock headlights housing reflector.

Projection headlights (non-halo) + D2S bulbs all the way.

Just my 2cents :bigthumbsup
