WARNING: Potentially stupid tire/wheel combo question, TSW Nurbs and PZero's

I'm not the smartest when it comes to wheels and tires but I'd like to get a set of 19x9 (not 9.5) TSW Nurburgrings on all four corners for my 5.0 w/Brembo Package and just throw my OEM PZero's on for a while till they're out of life. There shouldn't be any issues with this right? Because I see most people going with say 275/35's with 19x9.5. I just want to keep things simple since, honestly, I don't need new tires right now and I don't have a problem continuing with 255/40-19's. Our cars are 5x114.3 pattern right? And is it ok if I go with a 32 offset?

I am sorry I know you didn't ask this but what you want to do doesn't make sense to me. You are buying a set of wheels a size smaller than what would be normal just so you can use up your stock tires. So when you need new tires you're forced to buy a smaller size again or new wheels and tires? Why not leave the wheels you have on there now for the winter and put new larger wheels and tires on for the summer? You'll end up spending only a tiny bit more over the long run. If you're going to sell your stock wheels leave the tires on them and sell as a package, it protects the wheels in shipping and is as easy if not easier to sell that way.

Forgive me for asking but why doesn't it make sense? The factory brembo wheels are 19x9 with 255/40-19 Pirelli PZero's. So if I get a 19x9 wheel, it'll the same fit.

Maybe I should clarify:

I need to get snow tires and I am going to throw those onto the factory 19x9 Brembo wheels then I'd like to get another set of wheels for the summer and still use my factory tires and just keep using 255/40-19's on my new set of wheels.
Makes sense to me, and if all sizes match up I don't see how it wouldn't work.

Stock Brembo wheels are +42mm offset for comparison's sake. The Nurbugrings will stick out an additional 10mm.

If you go that route and wear out the stock Pirellis and you want to step up in tire size to 275/35/19, be aware the wider tires coupled with the 10mm less fender clearance may cause fitment issues. If you found stock offset wheels(Nurburgrings do not) then the wider tires should fit ok.

RTRs 19x9.5 +33mm with 275/35s are tight fitting and may cause issues with lowered cars, again for comparison's sake.

I'm not planning on lowering my car ever. So if I go with 19x9 'Rings on all four with a +32mm and 255/40-19 tires, I should be perfectly fine, yes? I don't really need to change my tire size, I'm not too worried about it.

Your plan sounds perfect then, goodluck!:bigthumbsup

Personally I'm going with Enkei PF01 18x9.5 +45 with either 275/40 or 285/40 all around depending on tire availability.

Oh and money....lots of money:laugh:!

Thanks for the advice man! Yeah, I'm not looking foward to the money part either but I REALLY want some new wheels for summer. So 300 a pop on the wheels plus 260 for my damn snow tires. :( Oh well, it'll be worth it. :laughlitt
