I get water behind my fuel filler door when it rains. Doesn't seem to be getting in the tank. It stays there for several days after it rains if I don't dry it out.

Anyone ever had this issue? Is this a common thing?

Not familiar with your car. But I would think there is a drain hole in there somewhere. I would check for that. Hope this helps.

There is a drain towards the back, it often becomes clogged by debris and dirt.

I would check and make sure that your overflow drain tube isn't plugged up, because that's where any water should be going.
