Water Leak help

I just finished installing a new cam, carb & ported heads on my 289. Started and broke in the cam. Then noticed a leak that is circled in the picture.

The water is coming from around the bolt & under pressure, it's coming out pretty fast.

Is this one of those bolts that has to have sealant put on? Or, is something cracked that I can't see?

The simple answer is yes. Pull the bolt back out and put some sealant on the threads and retighten. The water pump bolts need to have sealant on them. Good luck and let us know if that does it.:bigthumbsup

Torque spec is 12-15 pounds. :bigthumbsup
Yupp thread locker or any good sealant needs to be on all water pump bolts and any bolts going into the water jacket

Good luck!
That's what I was hoping to hear. I used thread sealer and that took care of the problem.

Thanks for the replies.........
