Too excited not to share. Been collecting parts over the past 6 months while I wait for my engine to be rebuilt (#8 cylinder failure). I'm expecting to have the motor back in my posession in the next 2 weeks.

Engine Build:
JPC/RGR short block (stock compression)
JPC/RGR stage 1 heads
JPC cams
Upgraded valve springs
Billet oil pump gears

Parts that have arrived already:
JBA long tube headers
JBA catted h-pipe
Boss 302R manifold
Spec stage 3 clutch
Boss/CS lower front fascia
Boss oil cooer
JLT catch can
AM GT500 style rims (18x9, 18x10)

Parts I still want to order:
Pypes super system catback
Spec steel flywheel
Nitto NT555 (255/45, 285/40)

PICS!!

Wow that clutch looks serious! Is the engine being shipped back home to Austin or is your car here?
6 puck sprung FTW! Had the same style clutch in my truck (different manufacturer though).

The engine will be shipped back to me. Car is located here as well. So no... you can't take it for a test drive before me. :D

Woohoo! I'm excited for ya!! :kooky:

Quick question -- how's that Pypes catback system gonna work with the new catted JBA H-pipe you're installing?

I would expect it to bolt right up as from I can tell the system is designed to bolt up behind the factory h-pipe. Is there something you know that I don't?

Holy hell Moose! Serious toys there. Would you mind telling me how much the build is costing? Also, if you don't mind, where are you finding the Spec Steel Flywheel? I've looked on their site and don't see one for the 5.0...maybe I'm blind though.

Can't wait to see how this turns out. Nice choices on everything; I would do the same thing. :bigthumbsup In fact, I just may do it anyway at some point. This will be a beast.

The JBA h-pipe has an option to use a 2.75" connection to bolt up to the stock catback as well as a 3" option to bolt up to aftermarket catbacks. Verify which one you have.

OP, if it's a 2.75 you will see the ends of the pipe step down and your band clamp will cleanly go right over the pipe. A full 3 inch will be a completely straight flush piping. Of couse, you could always measure too. :bigthumbsup

Both Lethal and AM sell them.

3" h-pipe for a 3" catback. :)

Yep. In my last ride I had what was called a Stage 4 clutch, but it was a 6 puck sprung clutch. The clutch didn't bother me at all. Plus I got a daily for dealing with those heavy traffic days.

Oh the fun that would be. Now.. to find a good enough reason to persuade the ole lady why we need to take a trip overseas and why its necessity to bring the Moose (aka Mustang).

Another round of parts came in today.

Spec steel flywheel, magnetic oil drain plug, Mishimoto aluminum radiator, and Pypes super system catback.

I picked up the Pypes catback used from a forum member, so it doesn't have the new shiny look. I'll snap some picks of the full exhaust from headers to tips a bit later.
