I'm running long tubes and cats, it works pretty good for me. There is only a slight smell at start up. I will throw a code every three months or so, I just clear it. I live in an area where there is emissions testing. I have no problems passing. Have you ever thought about switching to more of a mid-tube design like Kooks, Pypes, or Mac; then get a catted matching mid-pipe or splice in the cats?
