I had Phillips Racing wires in Deland, Florida custom make a set for my '97 GT. They make Racing Wires for a ton of Circle Track Racers, Sprint cars, etc. down here and I'd put them up against anybody elses. Motorcrap are not the best!
I'd say go with Kirban, they look good, perform well(better than stock) and are rated for more heat then you will produce. They are cheaper than most other companies that ive seen also. Mustang Muscle of St.Louis, Missouri (the local mustang place around here) recommended them and I havent had any troubles with them at all, they fit just the same as stock and are the same or similar diameter so they will fit in the stock wire oranizers that came with your 97. Just so you know i have a 97 GT also.
