#1 = smog vacuum lines

#2 = oil pressure sending unit

#3 = yes it is possible

Do you have a smog system on the car?

Try spraying some carb cleaner around the area's that you think might have a vacuum leak while the engine is running. If the engine sounds like it revs up then that would a vacuum leak would be
thanks a lot, I will try that now, im not sure if I have a somg system, the lines that are missing off the smog vacuum I think are the a/c lines because I deleted the a/c.
The lines missing from the smog vacuum block that are now blocked off are the line that go to the EGR, Air Diverter Valve and Air Bypass Valve and have nothing to do with your A/C.

The one line that you have hooked up in that picture goes from the smog vacuum block to the back of your upper intake.
alright thanks a lot, the black line to the right is hooked to my egr valve, I am not positive what the left one hooks up to, but I will check, what do you suggest I do? order new smog lines?
Mustang 5.0 vac system

Looks like you're learning about the 5.0. Use the link below to follow your vac system out. Make drawings and notes, see what's missing or broken. Your car may not be exactly like the drawing, but it should be really close. Does your car have a Check Engine Light? Is it on? Pull the codes and see if there's anything emissions related.

Those vac lines can also control the flapper doors in your heat/air system. Dont just start yanking things apart. If you have poor vac to the heat/air system, it defaults to defrost only.

You asked if the bolt would cause a vac leak... yeah, it could, but if those smog lines are disconnected and not plugged, or broken, there's your leak.

In the 1st picture slayton93 posted none of those plastic vacuum lines have anything to do with the flapper doors, heat or A/C those plastic vacuum lines are strictly for emissions equipment.

The HVAC ( heating, ventilation, air conditioning) has a different vacuum source and has its own separate vacuum reservoir.
i didnt no anyone responded back to this sorry! but the vacuum lines that that are cut are the black and grey ones on the vacuum line block. any suggestions to go about plugging them? i have a deleted smog pump
i didnt no anyone responded back to this sorry!
So what you're saying is you haven't checked this thread in the last 2 weeks. :shigrin

If those vacuum line are smog related and since you deleted your smog pump just put some silicone in the ports to seal um.
haha exactly man, and ill try that, thanks.
