Im going to be sending my gt40 heads out to have them"freshened up" & was wondering the benefit to a 3 or 4 angle valve job.would I benefit from having this done?

Yes, this allows more air to get inside the chamber faster. While at it why not get larger valves : 1.9in & 1.6exhaust

Good point.Feel kind of dumb but would I need to get different springs or pushrods.Would the machine shop have to open the seats up more?What other parts would I need?Could I reuse my crane roller rockers?Also would I have prob w/valve to piston contact.Its a 302 bored .030 flat top hypers & b303 cam.Thanks.

Iron GT-40 heads already have 1.84" (int.) and 1.54" (exh.) valves. Is six-hundreths of an inch going to make a difference?

Do not take anybody's word on whether piston-to-valve clearance in YOUR engine might be acceptable. YOUR engine is not the same as anybody else's engine, even if the parts are/will be exactly the same. Either measure clearances yourself or have someone do it for you.

Same goes for checking/measuring proper pushrod length.
