Seems ok from here. Can you have it checked by a mechanic before you purchase it. As for him throwing the front tires,I had a 92 GT and had a very hard time keeping front tires aligned. The price seems fair for the amount of recent work done but as normal low ball him and see if he sells it lower. Every seller has another number in there head. Good kuck.

Looks decent. Id be looking for subframe conn and torn floor pans. Really depends on how clean the MAF swap was, I think 5k is a little high.

See if you can soak the roof in water. One thing I'm dealing with till after school is one of the drain tubes for the indent in the roof for the sunroof is leaking I think. If you could spray it down good with a hose, you could check the interior for any leaks.

I think its a bit high since its a 88 and the interior is red and it would have to be in great condition. Plus you would have to check out the motor and see how the rust has taken to the car.

If you want A/C...you'll probably save yourself some headaches by looking for a more unmolested car. It sound like a good street rod starter...but obviously someone didn't have comfort in mind when they worked on it. zoom zoom. They may have just cut all the a/c lines. Get what you want. If that is it...go for it. For less than 5k of course though.

alritey then.............lookin to buy a car like that but concerned about A/C :frustrated:
i'm not necessarily looking to buy a racing car, but just one that is in good running condition for under 5k.....this seems to be one of the better looking ones that i have found.
