im pretty sure they run low 14s bone stock depending on the driver... so looks like ur doing good
what does a stock 2002 Mustang 4.6L V8 run in the 1/4 mile?
i have a 2002 gt with roush cold air intake magnaflo exhaust, 3.73 gears, and a tune and im runnin low 14s with 14.09, 100 mph flat being my best...ive got long tube headers with an off road x pipe going in on thursday which i know will put me in the 13s...just wanna see how far ive come ...someones gotta know..thanks

Usually mid 14's if you know how to drive. What's your 60'? If you get those parts installed and get a decent 60', you should be in the high 13's.
thanks for the answers...doesnt look like ive come too far then huh? but it was my first time ever goin to the track so im positive i could do a bit better how it is now...but im not sure of the 60 ft my time sheets are in the car but i know my first pass was TERRIBLE haha it takes some gettin used to but def a great rush

Mid 14's seem about right, Last time I went to the track, my best run was 14.5 at 101(With currents mods), I had some major traction issues, plus it was my first time so a lot of driver error there
for a mustang to have it best et it needs to pass the quarter mile mark hitting the higher end of the engine power band in fourth gear.that means 410's.with aftermarket rear suspension 430's is just fine.373's are good for 5.0,they make the power at a lower rpm range.thus they can use the advantage of lower ratio rear gears(more speed),then we need to use the speed capabilities of our engine to make it work,just make sure you always have enough oil in your motor at all times.

Is your Stang auto or 5 speed? Ive seen people hit 13.9 stock just with some better street tires. Like Eagle F1 GSD3s or the BFGoodrich KDW's.

Once I got some seat time I finally returned to the track, but I had a K&N FIPK, welded in flowmaster 40 series mufflers, short shifter, and an upgraded clutch... Nothing major (the only real power adder was the CAI), but I pulled off a best of 13.79 @ 100 mph. I believe it was with a 2.09 60 ft.

I proved my original post on this thread correct this past Friday. I ran my all stock, except exhaust, '02 GT auto and was in the 14.3's. I probably could've have ran a little faster if my launches were better (my best 60' was a 2.208)
you should get 13.90's with 93 octane, and good shift point's, with limited wheel spin!
