i bought a 2000 mustang convert it needs a engine but wondering what engine will fit perfect with out changing the harness and the computer and stuff like that i just want to drop it in

If you don't want to change computer stuff, then you should drop in whatever came in your car stock. Is it a GT or a v6? They would both fit, but you mentioned not wanting to change the computer.

what mustangs engines will fit

it is a v8 but all i want to know is what years will interchange. and also what other engines from different cars will fit and
it said the car was a sohc and why cant i change it to dohc and what would it take to intall a dohc enegine
