What exactly is exhaust backpressure?
So I was always curious, for anyone who knows, do we want to have the least amount of backpressure or more backpressure? And how is too much backpressure created in the exhaust? By restriction or restrictive items?

yep , restrictions in the exhast create back pressure . Most people think that you need some back pressure for torque . I sayfor a modified car , the less back pressure the better . torque is easily fixed by the right set of gears .
I agree , thats why I said on a modified car . the optimum size would be dictated by the engine .
Yeah , your right . I meant a highly modified car . like a race car .
I would say 1 5/8" primaries and 2.5" exhaust
