Nice thing with those heads you can take everything off the E7s and switch over. The bad part is I myself had more power and dyno numbers with my Ported E7s than with the Alumi Gt40s. The best bang for the money is the Trick Flow heads but you need new rockers and pushrods to install but they gave me a honest 45hp across the rpm range after 1800 rpm. The AFR 165 is a great head also but still seen more power from the Trick Flow with the larger valves.

I really like my trickflow trackheat heads. I used to run gt40p heads and it was a decent upgrade but nothing compared to going with 2.02 valves and gigantic intake ports.

IMO, those aluminum gt40 series heads are a waste of time.

I would have to say AFR 185's. Without a doubt, hands down the best.
Yeah, they're great heads without a doubt, but a 302 doesn't really have the displacement to take full advantage of 'em. The 185s would be more appropriate on a 347 or 351.

For a 302, I hear the 165s are the best match as far as AFR's offerings go.
