I'm looking to buy some accessories to make the interior look a little nicer. Door pins, air conditioner knobs, etc. Maybe also some caps for under the hood. I keep finding these types of things offered in different finishes. Can someone explain the difference between Satin Finish and Polished Finish. Also, the difference between Chrome and Silver. Most web sites have pictures of only 1 of the finishes they offer. If there are 2 pictures I can't tell the difference. I have the IUP. Which of these finishes would go best with my interior?

Satin should be less shiny than polished. The horizontal strip of metal on your dash is called satin aluminum. Chrome is chrome, you've seen chrome wheels, right? They have a mirror effect. And I would expect silver to look like a piece of silverware, silver in color and shiny, but without the mirror effect. For IUP, I'd go with satin.

Thanks for the info. Very helpful. Now I can go about my business and get some of this stuff ordered.
