What is the weight of a 2014 Mustang V6 and a 2014 GT ??

Going to depend on base vs premium and options, for my year a premium was about 150 lbs. heavier than a base, a GT weights more than a V6 due to bigger engine and other equipment.

Keep in mind much of that extra weight is in the front of the nose heavy Mustang. Losing 150+ pounds is significant but losing it off the front is a double bonus.

I agree completely. I could not put my finger on it until you mentioned this fact. My 2014 V6 with fat sway bars handles incredibly well, far beyond what I expected, especially when hard pushed in the twisties and hilly areas.

People are always seduced by the bigger is better syndrome. I recently drove both a 228i and m235i back to back and felt the 228i was the better all around car. Just so happens to be less expensive too. I was wondering why and found my answer when I checked out the specs. 228i has perfect 50/50 distribution and of course weighs less. The m235i weighs more and the extra weight is up front. Now it's not horrible but noticeable.

also add about 125ish for the convertible to each model.
