Ok I know gas prices are still hyped up but im not really concerned about the price of your gas, but my question is what is the average miles you guys get to the gallon? I think im getting very little by running my tank low and only putting 205 miles for the whole tank, 2001 Mustang v-6 auto, dual exaust, k&n fipkII

I get around 27 MPG (combined city and highway, mostly highway) in my '97 V6 convertible with dual exhaust, but I drive the speed limit.
2000 V6 auto, I get between 27-30 depending on the mood I'm in. If I keep it at the speed limit and don't accelerate too much I get up to 30.
98 3.8 auto I`m gettin 21 MPG . fresh tune up , CAI and exhaust . BUt I also do small jumps , like 8 miles to town . And I must admit I lead foot alot . Like to hear tire and pipes . But as gas keeps going up I will soon drive slower too .
2000 V6 and im getting around 20mph in the city and almost 26 on the highway but I put my foot in it sometimes too. Sounds like I need to upgrade a little if some of you are getting almost 30.
So how many miles do you guys get before you have to fill up again? I can only go an average around 200 miles to my tank. Question was more of mpt (Miles per tank) not mpg (Miles per gallon) lol. thanks
I have gotten as many as 260 miles on one tank of gas and as few as 220 miles on a tank. It usually depends on if I keep my foot out of it or not and whether or not im running max air.
I get about 200 miles a tank... maybe a lil more.

15 gallons a tank so i average 10-12 mpg I guess. Go V6!

Running a CAI and UDPs - Sounds like I should be doing better I don't even lead foot anymore.

New engine too.. Must have a vaccum leak somewhere.. Do smell gas around my car when I start it... Eh **** it. Getting rid of it soon anyhow. It'll be someone else's problem.
50city/50hwy I get 21mpg in the summer and almost 24mpg in the winter. I've gotten as good as 28mpg on a trip to Florida one time.
I average around 30mpg on the highway, 20ish in the city, depending on my mood. :hihi:

I don't usually fill my tank completely, and I've never completely run out of gas, so I don't know what my average miles per per tank is...
Regularly get 30mpg highway, 25mpg around town. 1995 coupe w/ 3.8 and 5-speed. Totally stock with 98,500+ miles. Even still has the original exhaust system on it! I've checked the mileage numerous times and the numbers are consistent. It amazes me.
I can travel from Omaha to Topeka on half a tank. 249 miles/7 gallons = 33 mpg.

I need to clean my air cleaner, and I'm getting a slight miss, 92,000 miles on the odometer, so it's about time for a tune up.
'99 auto with K&N FIPK and lead foot, around 24-26 (260-280 miles, between 10 & 11 in the tank).
Advice

well it does help by filling it to the top (if ya can) I know I at least go more than 50 miles back and forth to work a whole week on a whole tank of gas and have some left. (but i have a 3.8v6manual)
Gas Mileage

I have a 2001 and I get 20mpg in the city. I'm not sure about highway mpg but I can go 95 miles not even burn a 1/4 of a tank of gas.
****, i get 20 on a good tank, lately i've been getting 17-19mpg. which is bad seeing as how stangs are rated at 20 in city, 30 on highway right? i drive about 30/70 highway/city, even when i dont lead foot it my gas mileage is crap. anybody know what might be wrong? it was fine (21mpg) before i took it into the mechanics for the check engine light, they day i got it it started to burn more fuel than usual, everything sounds fine and there aren't any unusual smells, leaks, etc. any ideas?

actually they're rated at 27-8 highway, depending on tranny. you're making a little better power so you're getting better hwy mileage.

try spraying electrical contact cleaner on your MAF, disconnect the battery and reconnect. You can also run some injector cleaner through your fuel system.

Usually when my mileage goes down, it means I have a tire low, or I need to clean my air filter .. .
aye, i'll be doing that later this week, only 17 and my dad seems to think i dont know a thing about cars so if i pop the hood i get interogated (like i'm gonna blow the block w/ my bare hands and with the car off?). so that's lens contact cleaner on the MAF? and just run some injector cleaner from chevron or something through it right? btw, should putting in a k&n filter help and by how much if it does? thx in advance.

no computer electronics cleaner. you just spray it on the inside of the MAF.

A K&N is good for a couple of MPG.

I have a 2001 mustang v6 pretty much stock but a k&n air filter
and I get 27-28 miles per gallion, in town and highway. I get about 350
miles per tank just depending if I got my foot in it.
