93 cobra is 70 mm plug n play. Little hard to come by though.Im curious as to what year, make, and model vehicle comes with a factory size 70mm or larger maf sensor which is a simple bolt on,plug in and go??Ive heard maybe some of the following might work, but unsure.
Explorers - ?? year motor??
Mustang - 94-95 5.0 96-98 3.8 ??
Crown Vic - ?? year motor??
Any help would be great.I also dont want any sensor that requires me to replace ecm, change wiring harness, etc.Wanna bolt the sensor up and be done......Thanks for any help

That PN can also end in A1A instead of A2AHere is an old list I found that I had marked down. I think it's pretty accurate as I'm quite sure I copied it off this site back a few years ago.
If you want a plug/play look for a 70mm that has the sensor # F2VF-12B579-A2A. Several vehicles have it. From experience, DO NOT buy one that has the sensor # beginning with F4SF; your car will run like sh**.
1. 94-95 mustang 3.8l
2. 92-94 crown vic 4.6l
3. 94-95 mustang GT and mustang cobra 5.0
4. 92-94 town car 4.6l
5. 92-94 grand marquis 4.6l
6. 92-95 Continental
7. 94-97 Thunder bird 4.6l
Hope that helps
Thanks alot. Now Ive got a great selection to choose from.It would nice if was a way to test or semi test the maf sensor before removing, purchasing, and walkin out the door with it.Are there any test I can do with nothin more than a multimeter, such as resistance, etc??Im gonna be getting the sensor off of a non running car?? Pull-a-part, where you remove your own parts for less money:ideaHere is an old list I found that I had marked down. Negative. The 93 cobra electronics have a different curve than the 89-93 GT sensor. The car will NOT run properly.
You're correct, I forgot that I have the X3Z ECM and 24's.Negative. The 93 cobra electronics have a different curve than the 89-93 GT sensor. The car will NOT run properly.
Make sure you take the entire Meter and not just the Sensor as you cannot just swap the new Sensor into your old Meter. Yeah I have noticed that.Ive never ran across any cobras to get the one you listed either.Maybe Il just go with a 76c&l or 80mm.Didnt have good luck with the 73c&l or pro-m 75Most of the factory 70 mm MAFs have a solid post in the middle of them and don't really flow any better than the 55 mm on the 89-93 GT. All are designed for 19# injectors, and aren't really hi-po. The 70-mm Cobra is calibrated for the 24# injectors that came in that car, so don't go there without those injectors and that computer. Aftermarket will get you a lot farther a lot faster.
