hey everybody. I have a black 05 mustang gt with black wheels, exhaust, throttle body, intake, I am wondering what I should do next. I don't want to make the gas milage worse so I'm gonna stay away from the turbo and supercharger mods for now. This car is also a daily driver. I'm thinking maybe coil overs if they make a noticeable difference. Also thinking about a hurst short shifter.... Please give some feedback thanks!!

Gears would make a big difference but since it's a dd i wouldn't go too high with them.

I would say suspension is your best bet. Get that power to the ground!

As long as you can control your right foot a supercharger isn't so bad. It's only when you step on it hard that u use alot of gasoline

WOW I'm surprised Oak Lawn Chris hasn't plugged his tuner yet. But I'll do it for him since he's a lil slow today:laugh:
Go to AmericanMuscle.com check out their SCT tuner. The tuner will come with three different tunes (that you select based on how you wanna drive/what mods you have/what fuel you wish to use (you can even use e85 corn fuel if you pick the right tune but I do not know how that works). The tunes are free for life and BAMA (the tuners) will keep your stock tune for you. Everything I've heard bout these guys is nothing but :bigthumbsup. You can get a combo kit that comes with the tuner and either a CIA or gears. Since you already have the CIA obvi go with the gears. If its highway driver daily and a standard trans go with 3.73. If its an auto then go with 4.10
Just read your post and you mentioned a short throw so you're under the manual category so if you wanna keep you highway miles then go with 3.73.

And don't worry, Oak Lawn Chris will chime in backing me up sooner or later. He's a good guy he'll take care of you:yup:

No supercharger? Ha, the entertainment value is well worth any loss of MPG, now it's not cheap to add one, but boy oh boy will you love your Stang so much more and not pine for a 5.0

Welcome to AFM! If it were me I'd start building that suspension. All the power in the world doesn't mean anything if you can't hook. Gears are also a good choice... no hp gain but they make it feel like a different car!
