What size Nitto 555r drag radial can I fit on my 05 GT? I have 18x10 DD bullets on the back and have lowered the rear with a set of Roush rear springs. Right now I just have 275/45-18 radials on. I was looking at the Nitto 305/45-18 555r's. Will they be too tall for the 05 or should I go with the 305/40-18? The 45's are 28.78" and the 40's are 27.72". Pics on your cars would be helpful if you got them.

This is a view of mine with the 295/45-18's. They are not the DR's but fit would be the same. I've been thinking of using the 305 DR's for my next purchase. Nitto doesn't have 295 as a DR though, 284/40 then jumps to 305/40 and 305/45.

I actually tried to stuff a pair of the 305 D.R.'s on my 06 ,and it wasn't going to happen ,the 295/45/18's not only fit but give the car a true muscle car look as well.

I agree...Couldnt be happier with the stance of my car. I just wish nitto made the 295's in the DR.

Thats good to know about the 305's, because I was going to try to make them fit.

I was thinking about the Nitto 555R 305-40-18s On 10" Torq Thrust wheels with a 24 Offset. I was wondering if I will have a problem seeing the rear is an inch or so lower, Steeda Sport Springs. They are not much taller than the stock 235-50-18s. 27.25 compared to 27.70. How tall are the 295/45/18s, and who makes them?
