Hey all,
I have posted in a while, and I am sorry if this is the wrong section, but it seems to be the place where most the people browse.

My 18th Birthday is coming up in a couple weeks and my parents asked what I wanted.. The only thing I could think of was something for my 06 v6 stang.:heha:

I am not sure what their budget is for spending on this present, but it is probably more than my other birthdays (sense it is 18th), but it is not like $1000 or something.
So I was wondering if you guys could give me any ideas for some stuff that I could suggest to them for my stang. It isn't that I don't know anything about the stuff, but rather that I can't decide.
I already have a CAI, and Custom tune as well as blacked out rear lights.

So please post your suggestions as to what they could get, one or multiple things. Just stuff that you guys have, or that would be good on the car. Oh it is silver with white racing stripes.

The window louvers and dual exhaust are not a bad idea though.

FI means forced induction.

Gears and a tlok would be a very nice mod, performance wise. Gears are great for NA cars and the Tlok would help with the one wheel peel.

I would get some 1/4 louvers or a hood scoop, Maybe both depending on how much there gonna spend. Or also dual ,exhaust would be good, AM has some really good kits

you have kinda same mods as me.. i went with new rims and tires... i had the stock v6 ones and hated em..
maybe next for me might be exhaust +heads or lowering it
heres my rims tho

i think rims will make a big difference in looks.
also some simple mods too get a can of plastidip and black out your rear trunk ( i did my horse too and i think it looks good)
this stuff comes right off of cars, its like spray rubber there is a diy on s197 forum on how to.

the pony kinda hard to see cause of glare if you want another lmk

Hmm okay. Thanks for the suggestions, and wishes guys!
If I went with 1/4 window louvers, would it be better to spend the extra money (or have my parents spend it) and get pre-painted ones? Or to get the unpainted ones, and just paint them myself and then maybe be able to get something else for B-day as well?

1/4 windows all depends on what style you like. for me i wanted squared off ones ( ford racing or cdc) i went with the cdc, then $100 to have them painted at my local body shop. so not the cheapest but i like them.

the window covers are nice and cool but they are held on by 3m tape and plus they are all plasticy and idk .. i decided i liked the plan glass because it reminds me of the 1960's shelby gt350s.
but to each their own
my favorite side windows are the one on the saleens

I really would like wheels/rims but as far as I can find they are close to $1000, and there is almost no way they are gonna spend that much.

Yea I definitely like your window louvers, and it is probably affordable for them, so that is definitely something I am leaning towards.

A few other things I listed for them were Screamin Demon Coils from AM, black racing stripes (Because I like black ones better than the white ones on silver), some GT style petals, dual exhaust, and a GT style grille with fog lights.
Any opinions on these?

wheels and tires is a serious purchase for sure. theres lots of different 1/4 louvs out there, and prices really vary. and like wolf said, some guys just like the windows too. as far as the tape, no worries there. after a few years and hundreds of washes, and parking outside all year, those babies are really stuck good still. i cant comment on the ones that stick to the glass though.

looks on craige'slist i got my rims with tires for 550, and my ford racing turner+ cai for 150.
so there are deals out there so just look :yelpleased:
