Joining in with the fun, being in the UK I am not trying any MP3's as there is a known problem, long way to take the stereo to a dealer if it goes wrong:)

I have
Rush: Spirit of radio greatest hits
Beatles: 30
Foo Fighters: One By One
Commitments Sound Track inc Mustang Sally
Green day: American Idiot
Coldplay:A rush of blood to the head.

Quite a varied selection there, I have different moods where music is concerned and I have to keep the kids happy.

CD Player? What's a CD player?

I haven't even put a CD into the Shaker 500 yet: I listen to the built-in Sirius satellite radio or my iPod exclusively in my 'Stang. I suppose I ought to put a CD in just to make sure it works.

We probably went through the same epoch in life Andy. I am also 46 years old and experienced the whole 70's rock scene until that Ronald McDonald... I mean Reagan messed things up!!

I'm 24, currently have 3 mp3 cds:

Disc 1 - Classic Rock
Led Zeppelin - my favorite tracks
Pink Floyd - Animals, Dark Side of the Moon, and Wish You Were Here albums
Various classic rock songs
Walk the Line soundtrack, with the "June Carter" songs and the other lame songs taken out.

Disc 2 - Rock
STP
Nirvana
Metallica
Various hard rock/rock songs
Red Hot Chilli Peppers
Tenacious D

Disc 3 - Techno
Chemical Brothers
Ladytron
Felix da Housecat
Sarah McLachlan - Remixed
Subzero - Essential Chillout Collection

I get bored fast, so I thought I'd be easier to have just 3 cds.

Hi Steve, only had the car a week and was informed about the radio problem, can only receive odd frequencies and cannot receive much on AM. I have been told there is a mod do you know anything about the mod? I don't even want to put burned MP3 CD's in incase I get the thing jammed in the system which has been a known problem also.

Other than the frequency problem I think the sound is great. I would like a DAB radio (satellite) but again the wiring maybe a problem.
