I know there is a similar thread out there right now and I probably asked this before but I want to know realistically where I'm at. The guy I bought the set up from was saying 325-375 rwhp with this setup. He had the same set up and ran a 12.6 in the 1/4. I don't know what rear gears he had or what tires.

Here are my mods:

-3.73s
-Lowering Springs
-Sub-frame conn
-Drive Line Loop

-BBK CAI
-Edelbrock RPM intakes
-Trick Flow 1 inch intake spacer
-70mm Power TB
-2 inch 70mm EGR spacer
-76mm C&L MAF
-30# injectors
-Adj. FPR
-255 lph Fuel pump

-Motorsports Cam(specs unknown at the time, I bought shortblock[which is stock] with cam already installed, seller didn't remember spec and couldn't find cam card}
-AFR 165 Heads
-Motorsports 1.6 R/R's

-Spec Stage 1 clutch

-JBA 1 1/2 Shorty headers
-2.5 in Mac o/r H pipe
-2.5 in Flowmaster American Thunder system

I just want to know what I'm really running. Its fast, LOVES High RPM, pulls hard from 3600-6000. I have people asking me what its putting down and I say the 325-375 rwhp, but I don't want to be "giving" it more than it has.

Thank guys!:bigthumbsup

It's been awhile with me and 5.0's but i would think 320-330rwhp.
i know i was pushing 290rwhp with set up on my 95 GT, minus the 125 shot.
but i would def take it somewhere for a dyno to see. i need to take mine in soon.

Yeah I want to dyno it, I just don't have the money right now and I want to get a good idea where I'm at. Plus...we'll see how accurate you guys are:scratchchin

I'm hoping its right around that, maybe more. I definately want to be above 300rwhp.

Now what do you think that 320/330 would be at the flywheel/crank?

325-375 to the wheels? That would mean engine hp would be 380-440. I guess I have to be the downer and say I highly doubt it's to that level. I would think 325-375 engine hp would be more accurate, and I'm thinking 325-330 to be more specific. That list is an average engine many here have (heads, cam, intake swap) and I don't see it making 380-440 hp. I'd rather be honest with you than blow smoke your way.

I had full exhaust, GT40Y heads, GT40 intake, PIH kit with an 89 A9l, all bolt ons and so on and it made 290rwhp. I think that intake and better heads will get you over that 300rwhp mark.

He meant to the wheels, depending on the dyno I'll say 290-315rwhp.

I meant engine hp, and around 290 to the wheels.

Man...I so wanted to be above the 300rwhp line!

Well...a dyno will be the real answer. I'm having a difficult time finding a mustang specific Dyno shop here in OR. I doubt you guys know of one but what the hell, I'll ask anyway :scratchchinlol

With a tune you should get close to 370 flywheel HP or 320rwhp.

$500 for a tune? How many pulls do they usually do?

it takes a few pulls.

but, you will get some power from it. if you are at 290, after a dyno tune, you will be above the 300 hp mark.
