I have a 1985 gt mustang 5.0 and need to replace the original 4180 holley carburetor. The carburetor has been rebuilt at least once before and is now giving me leaking problems. I don't know the full history on it and would like to just start fresh with something new that is easier to work on. What Edlebrock or other brand besides Holley is the best replacement carburetor with around 550-600 cfm with little or no tuning right out of the box? Thank you.

First off thank you for the response. I forgot to mention that I need this car for somewhat of a daily driver and when looking into the edelbrock 500 (1403) it always says somewhere in the listing..... not for pollution controlled vehicles. I will have to smog it, obviously, because of the year and living in the city. Is this correct, or can i still use the 500. Thanks again.
