I have a Snap On torque wrench that I use for lug nuts and a smaller Snap On torque wrench that I use for drain plugs .The subject of wheel torque generates a lot of different opinions. Some hand torque by feel, others use an actual gauge to get it exact. Who here actually uses the gauge, and how to do keep it tuned if you do use one?
Yea I had the Sears Craftsman torque wrenches and they were crap . I dumped them on a Jeep forum and then bought the American made Snap On .Apparently most torque wrenches are very tough to keep tuned for accuracy. The really high end ones don't seem to have as many problems.
I have two:They have quite a selection of different wrenches. Which one are you using?
