I have been looking at the ultra eleanor 454 17X8 with a 4.25 backspace. I have a 1968 coupe with a graba trak 620 coils in the front. Will these size rims fit and how can I measure what backspace I can use?? Thanks

17x8 with 4.25 backspace will not fit, it will hit the fender. On a 17x8 you want 4.5''-4.8'' of backspacing. Most 17x8 you will find are 17x8 4.5'' backspace, and will fit fine, if you can find 17x8 with 4.75'' backspace those will fit better and allow more tire to fender clearance. 4.25'' is the correct backspace for a 7'' wide wheel like a 15x7 or 17x7 wheel.
